Membership Renewal

It is time to pay your membership dues. COA’s membership numbers continue to be strong with nearly 2,000 members or about 70% of all of the orthopaedic surgeons in California. We appreciate your past support and urge you to promptly renew your membership, or join for the first time.

COA Partners Enhancing Member Benefits

What happening in Sacramento?

It is all the more important to be involved and join with your other orthopaedic colleagues to ensure that your state orthopaedic association speaks with a loud clear voice when we are involved in state and federal discussions affecting your practice.

COA needs your support so that we can continue our efforts on your behalf.

Please encourage all of your partners and colleagues to also be active members of COA. The dues are low. It is important as well to support COA’s Political Action Committee (OPAC). Our efforts on your behalf depend on voluntary contributions. Trial attorneys, physical therapists, podiatrists, and chiropractors support their PACs heavily. Approximately 65% of COA members currently contribute to OPAC. Our goal is 100%. Your donations to OPAC have allowed us to support over 30 members of the state Legislature – incumbents and newly-elected legislators. This support is critical to developing relationships and lines of communication with these elected officials. We must have the resources to be pro-active and effective on many fronts. If every member contributed $100, we would raise over $200,000.

We urge you to show your support of COA by sending in both your membership dues and your very much needed contribution to our PAC. This is by far your best value in protecting your practice.
